Two Sassy Chicks is run by two, sometimes more, women who have a profound love affair with books. Between us, we read pretty much every genre and love to tell the world about it!

We are HUGE supporters of Indie Authors and always welcome review requests. We might not always be able to accomodate, but we will always try.

Thank you for visiting, and we hope you like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and join our mailing list!

I am 30-somthing (I’m not telling you how old!). I’ve been very happily married to my husband for nearly 18 years. We have two great kids, Garrett and Kaitlyn. I work full-time, in addition to being wife and mom. I like to cook, LOVE baking, traveling, meeting new people and of course have a passionate love affair with literature.
I started my love of reading at the age of 5, when I used to memorize Clifford the Big Red Dog books, and recite them to all of my friends. While I still occasionally enjoy a Clifford book, my tastes have grown to include suspense, humor, romance, erotica, some paranormal, and of course I’m a sucker for the classics. Any book that can make me feel like I’m in it I instantly love. I read many stand-alones, but also love series. If at the end of the story, I feel like I’m in mourning because it has ended, I know that book has touched me in some way.
I have recently discovered the wonder that is one-clicking! My husband bought me an iPad mini for Christmas, and he might be regretting that! I never thought I’d like reading ebooks as much as I do. I still buy paperbacks; there is nothing better than the feel and smell of a new book in my hands.
Happy Reading!!

Hello there! What to say…what to say? I’m 32 years old. I’ve been married to the love of my life for going on 7 years and am a mother of 3 very energetic boys, Duncan, Ian and Aidan. In addition to being an all-around awesome mom ;) , I sing in a semi-professional choir that has performed at some great places such as, Carnegie Hall. I love to sing, act, hanging out with friends and obviously read! I’m a certified bookaholic and an obsessive one-clicker! Its a problem…just ask my husband! I’ve been reading for as long as I can remember. I can’t remember if it was the Boxcart Children Series or the Nancy Drew series that started it all but I loved them both! My tastes have grown up a little since then. I love any and all romance but paranormal is my favorite! Shifters, witches, fae, dragons, vampires, demons…you name it, I read it! I love series but read stand-alones as well. I will admit that I need a HEA (happily ever after). I will read books that don’t have one but I prefer it. I don’t care if it takes 5 books to get there! Just give me a HEA! :)

Where to start on me?? Let’s see, I am 28 years old,  with four wonderful children. Hunter, Landon, Isabella, and Wyatt are my life outside the book world. I love to be outdoors, cook, bake,  grow my garden, have Friday Night Movies with the family, and READ!!

I am a very passionate reader, and have invested in over 400 ebooks since last May when I first got a Nook. I am VERY picky about what I read, but when I fall in love with one, I have to read them all. I normally read series, but I will get single books as well.

I love reading about paranormal stuff. Vampire’s, ghosts, dragons, werewolves, magic, fae/fairy’s, demons, angels… anything mythical. I love going into another world and having that experience, even though it will NEVER happen. If I was able to pick any mythical creature to be, I would LOVE to be a werewolf.

I also love reading romance. Anything that can make me feel tons of emotion. Books that can take my breath away, make my heart stop, make my heart beat so hard and so fast I think it will jump out of my chest. Books that will make me wipe a few tears off my cheeks, double over in laughter or having my husband give me this weird “what are you reading now” look, hold my hand over my mouth because its a WTM (what the mother) moment.  Books that make me feel like I am right there on the side lines watching it like a play.

Oh the wonderful way for author’s to be so cruel to us readers… Cliffhangers!! Oh how I hate thee. I have thrown my Nook on my couch, or I dropped my Nook on the floor (really on accident) because now I, as a reader, have to wait so many months before I can try to figure out what is going on! They are my worse enemy, because I will go several days without reading another book, coming up with different ways on how the next part will play out. Yeah, torture in my mind!!

**Amanda is currently taking a break to be with her family. We  wish her the best of luck and hope to see her back on Two Sassy Chicks as soon as possible.**
