Not ever.

Until now.

5 STARS

I LOVE this book. This is such a sweet, beautiful love story. A true contemporary romance that leaves you with warm fuzzies.

But not before you get a little angst. And a little hot and bothered.

Kacey has been in love with Jake, her best friend Riley’s older brother for forever. Everyone knows it. Jake’s never given Kacey more than a second glance. Everyone knows that too. But it only takes one moment, one unexpected incident to have someone look at you with fresh eyes.

Jake and Kacey’s story is unconventional, and extremely romantic. It will suck you in from the first page and keep you in its grip until the last. Jake and Kacey, and secondary characters Riley, and Heath all feel so real that when the book ends, I found myself going through a little mourning. I felt like I’d lost my besties. That’s how well Carey writes. You immerse yourself into their world and you feel like you fit right in.

If you want a book that will take you through a beautiful journey and leave you with a smile, Why Now? is the book for you. I’m already in love with the new Love Riddles Series and I can’t wait to see who she brings us next.

New York Times & USA Today bestselling author with 13 books out and many more to come. She was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. Ever the mild-manner citizen, Carey spend her days working in the world of finance, and at night, she retreats into the lives of her fictional characters.
Supporting her all the way are her husband, three sometimes-adorable children, their nine-pound attack Yorkie and their needy Ninja cat.
