RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: P.I.T.A. by Brooke Blaine

Title: P.I.T.A. (L.A. Liaisons, #3)

Author: Brooke Blaine

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Release Date: January 30, 2017

As one of the most prestigious wedding coordinators in Los Angeles, Paige Iris Traynor-Ashcroft is known for being classy, elegant, and the orchestrator of many happily-ever-afters.

But in the words of Paige herself: “What a crock of shiitake.”

Known affectionately (or not) as P.I.T.A. to those closest to her, she’s never been one to buy into the whole monogamy thing for herself. Sure, her BFFs are getting picked off by Cupid one by one, but his arrows have nothing on her semiautomatic.

Richard “Dick” Dawson does his best to live up to his name. A long-time frenemy and manwhore extraordinaire, he thrives on pushing limits, pushing up skirts—and pushing every single one of Paige’s buttons. He’s the itch she can’t scratch, and doesn’t want to. Or does she?

What happens when blazing-hot rage turns to crazy, unexplainable lust? Surely not…love? Because that would just be a total P.I.T.A.

Brooke has done it again. Only this time she’s added a whole bunch of feels to her usual rom/com flair.

P.I.T.A.  is the third book in her LA Liaison’s series (if you haven’t read the first two, what the hell is stopping you?), and in true Brooke form, is packed full of hysterical one-liners and comedic situations. But unlike Licked and Hooker, this one goes a little deeper. Paige is a little more complex than Ryleigh and Shayne. And that is what make this book my favorite in the series so far.

Paige is a strong, take no prisoners, be on top kind of gal. While she’s best known for her amazing wedding planning, she doesn’t actually believe in the act of marriage, which is a little ironic.

Richard “Dirty Dick” Dawson is her best childhood friend, turned frenemy in college and somehow always manages to keep himself on her radar. The tension between the two is often times more than just sexual, but there’s a reason for it, and it’s a good one.

I love love love these two. While Paige comes off confident and secure, underneath she has a soft heart that she doesn’t want broken.  Richard comes off arrogant and cock-sure, but underneath that, is a man with who knows what ~ and who~  he wants.

I absolutely adore this series, and this book is definitely tops. I laughed at Paige, and I cried with her. I hurt for her, and wanted to kick her ass like her friends would do. But most of all, I wanted to see her get what she didn’t know she needed. And Brooke didn’t disappoint.

I’m happy we still have one more book left to go. And while I’m anxious for Quinn’s story, I’m not ready for this series to be over.

About Brooke Blaine

You could say Brooke Blaine was a book-a-holic from the time she knew how to read; she used to tell her mother that curling up with one at 4 a.m. before elementary school was her ‘quiet time.’ Not much has changed except for the espresso I.V. pump she now carries around and the size of her onesie pajamas.

Brooke enjoys writing sassy contemporary romance, whether in the form of comedy, suspense, or erotica. The latter has scarred her conservative Southern family for life, bless their hearts.

If you’d like to get in touch with her, she’s easy to find – just keep an ear out for the Rick Astley ringtone that’s dominated her cell phone for ten years.
