James is young, gorgeous and loves to live on the edge.
When the two of them meet, Serena wants to experience a little of that recklessness herself for once.
James and Serena begin a journey that has ups and downs, bittersweet memories, lovely surprises and of course steamy sex. Their releationship takes them on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Both have had heartbreaking losses at young ages. Both know the difficulty of trusting and of learning to let go.
Layla does a very good job making Serena and James REAL. You can connect with them in some way; whether it’s through Serena’s caution or James care-free, fast-lane lifestyle, you feel like they could be your friends.
